I think it is relevant. Both parties are hypocrites over ETS/CO2 emissions.
Abbott has hardly been the model of consistency has he? global warming is crap, now it isn't, now he's not sure (read opinion poll before deciding next stance). Gillard has flat out lied, at least she has been more decisive than Abbott who doesn't know if he wants to flat out lie just for now.
Unfortunately the only principled pollie in a position of power is Bob Brown and that's a frightening thought.
