You said that at least 80% won't be released to market any time soon. It seems to me that these loans are generally short term so there is no guarantee of that.
Going by your link it says that copper imports to China were down 28% February 33% March. Is this a trend we need to consider? The copper shortage that is mentioned regularly in this forum is a little more than 1% of total annual production. It would only take a micro shift in one economy to push that one way or another. Perhaps a 1% increase in China's base rate to cool their overheated economy ..seems more likely than not..All the while the LME inventories continue to climb.
