Thanks. I have been consistently critical of IPR's move into Nearmap. I still think it was the wrong move but its done.
I think the solid value in IPR is in the assertion portfolio with Nearmap being a wildcard that may pay off.
On this basis I would consider buying more if the price fell to around 5c.
The main risk I saw was that the board might not have had the strength of character to pull out of Nearmap if it didn't turn cash flow positive soon. Acting to stop a loss requires grit that many don't have.
In this move I see the board starting to unwind the binding between Nearmap and IPR. I hope this is the first move on positioning to be able to cast off Nearmap if necessary. Hence the risk is reduced.
