Hard to beat a good spaghetti bolognaise

4 tablespoons of good olive oil
    2 finely chopped onions
3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 handful of continental parsley roughly chopped
2 tablespoons of dried mixed italian herbs
    800 grams of mince
800 grams can of chopped tomato
    5 Roma tomato's chopped
    Salt and freshly ground pepper

Fry onions in oil for 3 minutes on medium heat or until soft
Add garlic, parsley and dried herbs, fry for 2 minutes add salt and freshly ground pepper
On high heat, add mince and cook until all liquid is gone.
Turn heat down to low add tomato's, stir.
Simmer for 3 hours stirring occasionally

Top with freshly grated parmesan and freshly ground pepper

Bonus points for home made pasta. Easy to do.

Add chopped mushrooms or chopped and pre-fried chorizo or both for a bit of variety. I like to fry the chirizo, remove and chop before cooking the onions, then adding back in with the mince, mushrooms go in with the tomato.

    Enjoy
