Only use a mental stop loss.
In the past a company in America was due to release results of a phase 3 trial (can't remember company name).
The stock got dumped on by the big boys and people either sold in panick that negative results had been leaked and also stop losses got hit along the way.
After the stock hit rock bottom the big boys loaded up at basement prices.
Later that day the actual announcement was made, they passed phase 3 trials. The stock rocketed!!
People came home excited to see how much they made only to realize that their stop loss was triggered.
If we list on NASDAQ the big boys in America may just do it all over again...you've been warned.
