It is amusing how the knee-jerk, chardonnay sipping, hand ringing, socialist media go ballistic when someone like Trump pops up in American politics. There are equals on the Democratic side that run for President every four years - crazy left wingers who think the sky is falling and espouse drastic measures. Apparantly if you are running for office as a socialist (Democrat) you have to highlight the precipitous nature of society in America and the requirement for people to accept painful remedies, or you really dont have anything to offer. But we never hear about them in Australia because even the media understand that they are crazy and irrelevant. Ralph Nadar was an example. I think he stil runs every four years but I might be wrong. So maybe Trump is not so crazy after all, just decisive and committed. And that scares the left no end.
