Because it is the furthest away from being a producer.
(And hence having an income)
I have been tossing up between investing in ARD or AYN for the last week or so.
I took a position in AYN today.
Production started 10 days ago, and silver bars expected in May, with revenue coming in June. Full-scale extraction is due Q3 2011.
Whether your situation suits ARD better, is of course for you to decide.
Either way, IMO, having exposure to silver is good for your portfolio.
