Not a dream, Beach, ........but..........
I discussed with Greg a few weeks ago the possibility for the use of H2 in a gas turbine generator coupled with a waste heat co-generator steam turbine.
They have considered it in the past but the cost of the gasturbine for experimental purposes at the present stage of developement of EDE is a bit prohibitive.
Another company with which I am familiar is called CFU, Ceramic Fuel Cells. Their science appears to be very good, but the SP is not, (glad I got out at 25c!)
Small scale power generation might be all we can achieve for the time being, and so competing with coal is, IMO, a while off yet.
