That wasn't my point hotwolf. If you understood my post, I was simply stating that most of them would have been filled at 1.5 if they had simply placed their buys at 1.5 instead of 1.6 during the auction, because there was not a single buyer at 1.5, so timing of any impending announcement had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Their decision to pay 1.6 was stupid and unnecessary, announcement or no announcement.
