Thats just one example - the Carbon tax was rejected by Gillard prior to the last election - obviously a con to stay in governement - but it was required in the fine print of the deal with the Greens to get their support. So yes it has has been dumped on us after it was rejected by Labor. The fact that it is only getting widespread review now and has both business and the unions offside is a result of the governement's total mismanagement of a very complex issue. Not to mention the lies that were peddled to the voters prior to the election.
