Researching Nearmap, it seems quite obvious that this will get snapped up by either google or microsoft.

By microsoft so that they can compete with google maps, by google to stop microsoft!

But the most compelling reason, is that it will save either of them billions. Nearmap technology and speed is so impressive.

I guess this is why the free website is there - for exposure. It's normal for these big companies to want to see that it is proven & works - and that is happening.

However, if we ignore the possibility of a takeover, the nearmap business model is showing that it can work. 100% customer retention & new customers being signed is great news.

This is getting near to break even point, then it will become profitable of course. It's a business model that can be copied throught the world. It'll be cheaper abroad too - because of the density of population. England is 59 times smaller than Australia.

In the last quarterly ipr had $7.5m. Late in Feb (after they had got $6.5m from some ip work) they said they still had $14m in the bank. So maybe nearmap has gone a few months without making a loss.

Then we have the great new people on the board - who know this kind of game that ipr are now in (eg. ex virgin guy).

Then we probably have other ip case money coming in. Maybe $20m a time.

And a market cap of under $24m and $14m in the bank (a few months ago at least).

I know lots of holders are fed up, cheesed off etc. I understand that. They were at TIS when I bought at 13.5c and ACL at 10c.

This stock is a buy in my opinion!
