I don't know about Caustic's dislike of this stock, and I have said before I think the fundamentals are very strong, but technically AVM is still weak. The old rising trend price would be at least 75c plus, and the actual price is still in a neat downtrend. The crazy thing is such a small amount of buying or selling would make a large difference to the price - just on the board the price could easily be 80c or 50c at close tommorrow with a moderate volume day. Therefore, as I said before, I think TA is difficult for this stock. TA for me is a protection of market reality over my natural urge to "believe" in stock fundamentals, which the market time and again ignores, to my cost.
I don't regret my exit at 71c, and I have yet to see the "safe to re-enter" signal I am looking for.
I am no day trader, my best gains are from long holds, like AVM from 14.5 c to 71c, BSG 11c to 35c, etc, and they were both rocky rides!
