I can't get over the whinging


If there is a placement to sop. investors - people whinge.

If there is a placement and you don't get enough - people whinge.

If there is an spp and you miss out - people whinge.

If your refund doesn't appear instantly - people whinge.

If you have a short time to get your kit together - people whinge.

If you aren't led by the nose to fill in the form or can't find the form by a quick way (you are supposed to be smart investors) - people whinge.

Guys - this happens to sop. investors ALL the time. And for a lot bigger bucks than this.

Many times sop. investors have hours to make up their minds - hours. At best a couple of days.

For underwriting deals you send your money off into the ether without knowing even slightly what will happen.

You put your name up for whatever number of shares - having NO IDEA how many you will get, whether you will be scaled down or have to tip in for the lot.

Well, maybe some of you are getting a small taste of what it is like to be in that dreadfully lucky crew of privileged people we call sop. investors.

Great, ain't it. Try walking a mile in the shoes rather than the metre we have just had the opportunity to do.

Just when in the hell are we going to pick up the dummy and get on with it?

We are supposed to be investors - mining company investors even - there is supposed to be a bit of grit that goes with that - I ain't seeing much.

For heavens sake - if you have learnt lessons from this, be grateful - it just may have saved you an absolute packet in the future - NOW you know a few tricks, and at very little cost.

Personally I am awfully glad to be involved in a company that there was so much demand for - to me it is a privilege.
