if you were to be doing this now, currently it is cheaper to sell the options on market and immediately buy head shares, instead of converting.
Reason for difference is partly that you don't have to convert yet (leave that 3c either in the bank or in other shares or as a reduction of your mortgage...whatever, making a gain on that 3c)
