    It looks like the legal problems are slowly becoming
    less significant.I believe the SA government and DMR are
    making sure different parties are resolving their problems
    by negotiations rather than costly court cases for them and
    loss of investment in the country by unsure investors.

    After getting the lands back this was the biggest hurdle.No doubt the JV will come in one form or the other.I use one of the biggest brokers in europe who has a lot of experties in X and they tell me there will be a lot of excitement to come in the following months and that should lift the whole sector.

    After reading all the positive and some negative posts recently and due to the facts above I have decided to top
    up my holdings.A colleague who also has significant number of shares in NKP said to me this could turn out to be a chance of a life time.I am beginning to realize that potential now.

    Slowly but surely victory is coming our way.

    Nkwe Platinum and Genorah Resources high brass visited the Burgersfort and Steelpoort area on Wednesday tomeet with representatives of the Roka Pasha and Bengwenyama communities, collectively taking a mediacontingent, most of the journalists flown in from Johannesburg, to visit the community farms where GenorahResources will be the ecomomic partner for platinum mine development in the coming years.The Department of Mineral Resources (?DMR?) successfully processed the Section 104 Applications on theEerste Geluk 327KT and Nooitverwacht 324KT farms and awarded rights to both the Roka Phasha andBengwenyama ya Maswati communities respectively.As a result of this award, Nkwe Platinum Limited (ASX: NKP) (?Nkwe?) has regained its interests in both theGaratau and Tubatse projects after a Constitutional Court ruling towards the end of last year that stripped Nkwe ofthe Tubatse project. In the advent of this announcement, the MD of Nkwe Platinum Limited, Maredi Mphahlelesaid: ?Nkwe and the Roka Phasha and Bengwenyama communities welcome the award. This move is significantin that it provides not only economic opportunities for all but it also forges a strategic partnership that embarks ona meaningful and sustainable path of social and infrastructural development for the area.?The development of this platinum mining project through the partnership will seek to create job opportunitiesfor all members of the communities in addition to increasing educational and skills development programmes.Such development will bolster the already existing initiatives undertaken by Nkwe in previous years. Throughextensive consultation with the communities, Nkwe is committed to working with the Roka-Phasha andBengwenyama communities to facilitate infrastructural development to ensure that the future will see amongstothers, the building of clinics, schools, roads, bridges, houses, as well as the provision of electricity and cleanwater in the area.The Chief of Roka Phasha-Phokwane Community, Thete Phasha, spokesperson of Roka-Phasha PhokwaneTribal Authority said: ?We look forward to cementing our relationship with Nkwe Platinum. We are relieved thatprospecting of Eerste Geluk can continue for the benefit and betterment of all communities who live in it.?Adding to this, the spokesperson of the Bengwenyama ya Maswati community, Dr Sizani Nkosi said: ?TheBengwenyama community has valued Nkwe?s sustained participation in our community through meetings with theTribal Authority and the Eerste Geluk Nooitverwacht Community Development Forum. This award is symbolic ofthe break of a new dawn in our area and it forges a new way of engaging in development. All partners will worktogether underscored by mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision. This is poised to set an examplefor similar initiatives elsewhere in integrating the spirit of unity.?The Paramount Chief of the BaPedi, Kgosi Kgolo KK Sekhukhune has urged the two communities toappreciate the good fortune extended by the DMR. ?All communities must work peacefully to enjoy the goodbounty of the land. The culture of the BaPedi rests on time-tested principles of ubuntu. At the core of theseprinciples is the belief that respect of human dignity is of paramount importance to a well-functioning society. Ihave the conviction that this is a human investment before it is a commercial one -commerce is an outcome of theinvestment in human capital and social development of the area. The people of Sekhukhune must unite aschildren of the King to build a lasting legacy that will benefit generations to come,? he said.
