I may be wrong, but I understand CNX are using second hand reciprocating engines, not turbines.

Any sizeable, efficient syngas powergen project would have to use turbines.

Finance wont be forthcoming for such turbines until manufacturers give warranty for use with syngas.

Warranty wont be forthcoming until the producer can supply sufficent data to demonstrate stable composition syngas under full production loading.
