I don't believe any of the states offer a feed in tariff for low emmission technolgies? Last I heard atleast 12 months ago was CFU submitted a proposal for a feed in tariff to be enacted by the Victorian Government, (for equipment like the Bluegen). The feed in tariff requested was equivalent to the standard rate. If the Federal Government can offer 50% off the installation cost, and a feed in tariff negotiated, then the Bluegen is getting closer to being attractive as an alternative generation source in the current environment.
Note a previous CFU announcement indicated Bluegens installed in 'department of housing' dwellings in Victoria. A feed in tariff was negotiated with the electricity retailer for these units.
