    Hi Novogenesis,
From what I can deduce there is no production and I can't see anyone in PPY coming out and making that statement, for obvious reasons.

I am no patent lawyer but the apparent fact that PPY is not pursuing Beleaf or Fibco suggests that the patent may indeed be flawed or very weak. Maybe PPY do not want to test the strength of the patent. Given that both Beleaf and Fibco are part of the EU one might also deduce that the patent challenge would be very expensive and PPY have no reserves to fight it? If this is the case then did PPY show Beleaf and Fibco too much without solid protection when PPY were setting up JV's?

The only reason why we are in the dark is because PPY have not even honoured their commitment to shareholders that they would be kept informed. When was the last time you saw an E letter? Shareholders were promised a monthly E letter back in September last year(if I recall correctly). I haven't seen and E letter since November last year?

As for the market. It is there but it is highly competitive and commodity driven. "Green" credendtials do not figure otherwise Laminex and Formica should not exist.

Can you see a rabbit being pulled from a hat? Egypt is not even getting a mention.
