Wayne25,
The Bengwenyama ya Maswati /Miracle upon Miracle Investments (Pty) Ltd were refused application to Eerste Geluk Farm on the grounds that the community was not the registered land owner. The rightful owners of the land as currently recognised by the government is the Roka Pasha Community.
Miracle upon Miracle (MUM) Investments can hardly say they were not consulted now when they have been granted part ownership of Nooiterwacht.
MUM are not threatening legal action against Genorah or NKWE, it is the DMR process they have issue with. The biggest so called legal issue MUM has against the DMR decision is the apparent mistakes on dates and appeal times.
Some biased media reports out today have suggested NKWE ownership on the Tubatse farms has been reduced.I have been informed the interests on Eerste Geluk and Nooitverwacht have been returned with its previous 64% interest on Eerste Geluk and a shared 50/50 interest with Miracle upon Miracle on Nooitverwacht.
In my opinion this noise will not hinder progress on the BFS or any possible JV. The fact that ARM/Anglo did not submit their own 104 application for Eerste Geluk and Nooiterwacht which are part of the Modikwa Deeps is also encouraging.
The NKP board will be in Perth next week, it may be a chance for shareholders to voice their concerns.
