I'm waiting for the company to release some info about whether or not (I suspect not) this latest scuttlebutt about Namibia seizing all mineral assets for itself applies to Paladin.
Apparently they have formed their own Govt-sponsored company, called Epangelo, with only about $5 million in the bank. And they want "IN" on all mining and exploration.
I gather it's aimed particularly at EXT, and I would be surprised if it applied to existing producers such as Paladin and Rio.
But I suspect the market is spooked by this (it was one govt minister gobbing off apparently) and awaits some clarification and reassurance from Paladin.
If Namibia HAS intended this to apply to everybody including Paladin, then they have just done the biggest "shoot themselves in the foot" job I've seen in a long time.
