Russia announced last year it wanted to invest 1bn in Nam u projects. the obvious target was Husab- in fact they tried to badmouth extract with the govt to try and derail the mining licence Extract was going to apply for.
Namibia would love to be able to play its Cold War Allies (when SWAPO was a guerrilla movement) off against each other.
