Okay.
Out of interest, the current IP version (v4) is about to be replaced by the next generation IPv6 (not sure what happened to version 5) and the comparisons are mind boggling.
IPv4 is a 32bit system and has some 4.3 billion possible IP addresses. IPv6 is a 128bit system and has more than 600 thousand billion billion addresses per square meter of the earth's surface (about the same number of shares as VPE has on issue). While I'm not promising anything, it's not likely that we will run out of numbers in short term, so v7 might be a way off.
One day we will see every light switch, powerpoint and electrical device with it own IP and separately addressable - the ultimate in couch potato heaven lol.
Cheers
