Cougar's extensive monitoring program has demonstrated that there is no contamination to clean up. And even if there were, we have the word of The Hon Stirling Hinchliffe MP that, as he informed Agforce recently, any BTEX contamination in the aquifers in Queensland is naturally occurring. It's been there from the beginning of time, and will remain so. It would be a denial of natural justice to hold Cougar responsible for it.
