Frank, I haven't imported tobacco or cigarettes. However, I think customs would pick it out if for no other reason than that it's taxable here. They check all sorts of things that come through the mail.

You might be best off contacting customs to see what if any import restrictions apply (penalties for contravening them if they exist), whether there are exemptions (eg specialty items) and how much excise/tax you'd need to pay.
