carlturk - I believe the truth lies somewhere along this line. From my enquiries Tincom at least want the technical know how to replicate the project in Vietnam but there may be some truth to them believing they can do it all without Arup hence putting their man in the role.
I didn't get a clean answer as I was keener to find out it the technology was legit but from what I found out Tincom are very committed to this project to the point of completely taking over the running of the whole process - this makes sense to me as they have their own access to engineers etc and they are the ones coming up with the cash.
What are the implications if they pushed to move the whole project to Vietnam? I assume our equity value in the local jv is next to nothing but we still get a $5 royalty. I suspect the construction would be much faster though.
You guys know much more than I about this company - is this a possibility?
Also there appears to be confusion about where the ESI shares go - I read it that they go to the jv company (makes sense as both lick in $1.5m but ESI's stake was via share placement so it is they jv company that owns the ESI shares) but others have told me TinCom get the shares - anone know for sure?
