The point really is that ESG will drill 1km+ in both directions horizontally possibly I guess as many as 6 lateral wells from each vertical hole. This means one pad every roughly 4 sq km, maybe less/maybe more. but hard to see how working around anything flora or fauna sensitive is going to be an issue with that large spacing..

If everything was to be a vertical well as in Qld, the situation would obviously be harder, but even then probably not impossible.

Bit of a storm in a tea cup. Needs to be explained and some diagrams, and a report...but ...hard to lose sleep over. The drilling and flora and fauna are not mutally exclusive
