I could follow what Crean was trying to put forward to the public in particular to the addressing of the nbn .If your local area can put forward cases for stopping double trenching and also bussiness case for bringing it earlier to your area then it makes economic sense and its quite possible it could happen and plans changed to suit your area earlier.Its one of the reasons i hate local goverment becomming politicised by parties useing the local leaders for party measures or vice the local goverment leaders using thier political preference to install party politics at federal or state level and bring it into the local area of goverment.
The local area of goverment should remain free of party alliances imo It should remain an area where the dots do get joined together free of the politics of federal and state level and are carried forward to those levels on a communities needs free of encumbrances of the political kind.
