    A couple of points:

First, what we read in the article is what the journo heard, not necessarily what Mr Henderson said. For instance is any holder of MEL shares here for the dividend? I think the QGC and AOE holders walked away with big smiles, but none of them got paid a dividend. Anyone swimming in the junior resource end of the investment pool would know this. Maybe the reporter does not, and when Mr Henderson replied to a question about dividends he thought he had uncovered a significant point.

Secondly, reporters at local papers have it drummed into them to make every story, every angle, every sentence local. People don't buy the Blackstump Daily to read about the future of gas in a carbon-taxed peak-oiled world: they buy the local rag to find out what Madge has been up to and if the video shop down the road is going out of business. Maybe even Mr Henderson was tutored to focus on local angles as well. Hence the emphasis about local gas sales and the local powerstation and hardly a mention of Shell or Gladstone or a dedicated pipeline up through SE Qld.

The article was for local consumption. I'd be interested to hear Mr Henderson strut his stuff when he thinks there are some professional analysts and investors in the room.
