Can't expect management to try the futile task of manipulating the sp. They clearly were at a loss to put out any tangible support news, and are probably even more frustrated and disappointed than us in news from the field.

They did the director token buys, about all the signaling they could probably do with just warm fuzzy optimism that the worst of the news was out - they'd look pretty silly and worse if they put out a firm prediction of better production to come at this stage. Regaining credibility at this stage will only happen slowly and must follow actual production upturn.

To worry about your margin loan? Well one would hope any with MLs on spec stocks with sp in volatile decline for nearly 2 years kept a solid buffer of other equity - or they wouldn't be such smart dudes would they?
