A ray of sunshine? Maybe. Was the opening down selling the last down side test by those looking to take bigger stakes and when they found buying at 310ish they decide it couldn't be pushed any more and time to buy some back at the close? Maybe. It was a chunk of big buys all in a row that pushed the price up and back to Tuesday's level so hard to tell, maybe real buying maybe just foxing. Big friday tomorrow, volatility like this has typically led to a sizeable break one way or the other, direction tomorrow could really imprint a message about the short term direction.
(EL Sprott paying 346 is a nonsense question. If they trade anything they have to inform the market, they have over 5%. They have 19%, they can only buy another 0.9% without making a takeover bid to all shareholders. No-one ever bids the market price (346), they would have to bid, I'd guestimate, at least 550. So asking whether they would pay 346 is meaningless.)
(Topcall, CAPM and Jensen alpha have nothing to do with technical analysis (charting) they are part of investment management theory and what you should be interested in then is beta, the measure of correlated volatility. You don't have to try and impress me, if you were real deal traders you would not be trawling HC, let alone getting so het up. I can only assume that you believe postings here influence the market. Sheeeesh, if only!)
Volume too low for today's bump to mean anything yet. Have to watch tomorrow but still ST Sell for now. Folks must have been thinking 250 for a spell this morning.
DYOR.
