G'day Mrmickles and Anthony,

I was wondering if the ATO would look favorably on a claim that said trip to India was a legitimate tax deduction to off set capital gains in SDL.

I would imagine that airfares, accom and the operation along with brokerage for selling the kidney to raise funds for investment purposes would be tax deductible rather than be seen as income or a capital gain for selling an asset.

I was just exploring (or researching) all options for extra funds as I think SDL may be on the launch pad for a $0.05 rise in the next 7 days.
