This port is to support shipping operations of another (yet to commence) mining venture close to Kimba in Central Eyre Peninsula.
Seems like a good start but I dont believe it will be sustainable for very large volume shipping and believe that CXM will still persue the much more cost effective option of the Sheep Hill multi use port arrangement. This is essentially already being funded by the chinese who want their ore sooner rather than later.
