Sorgs, JC, MM, appreciate updates on how things are shaping up for current season.

WA is dry, and forecast for next two weeks is dry. Canola area likely to be on the receiving end of significant area cutbacks if this forecast is correct.

Feed manufacturers running at record pace, farmers looking at another poor pasture start so putting out plenty of feed grain. Lick feeder manufacturers had a very big summer. Can't be too much feed grain left in the system ...

Feed barley $280-290 on farm now. Lupins $385 ish ... probably have to start dipping into wheat at some stage.

Some areas have subsoil. About 90mm here since the New Year begun ... about 5-7cm down. Need a rain to plumb into it ..
