A little more interesting information from page 37 of the telegraph, "And he (lightfoot) claims to have been quite intimately involved in Woodside affairs for a man who "has no relationship with the outift. Last night Lightfoot asserted he was a signatory to a memorandum of understanding for possible oil exploration agreed to between Woodside and the Kurdish Regional Government. If true, thats an extraordinary role for an elected representative, and the possible conflicts of interest are substantial."

A storm in a teacup? I very much doubt it. Through threats of legal action, the Telegraph has intensified the storm significantly being supremely confident of having the ability to justify its stance.
