With the reckless way in which Mugabe has destroyed the Zimbabwe economy, I find the amount of restraint shown towards outright nationalizing of the countries mineral resources surprising.

South Africa is politically a very long way from the Mugabe led madness. While the political will is no doubt there in SA to improve Black economic standards, there is also enough political sense to know that this can only be achieved by international investment which must not be frightened off.

Just my thoughts.
