just a guess, but I've seen many past instances of where a small company is initially successful with a gas well - its share price goes up - it gets a chunk of money via a CR - it gets ambitious and spends that money on an acquisition that proves useless - it issues more shares - it has a further CR...... and so on, and before you know it it's awash with scrip, has little money and the initial good find starts to decline.....
I'll be surprised if HOG keeps its exploration focus tight and doesn't splurge its dough on some useless venture.....
as for the sp, it looks like the market thinks it's worth around current levels so I'm not expecting any sp boost - just expecting it to range trade throughout the year until the next drilling results come in - given HOG's record it won't be SOON - and depending on those results the sp will move accordingly..... the chances of another good hit? about 20:1 so is it worth hanging on to HOG shares currently? that's up to you....
I don't see any record of HOG issuing regular updates on its last drilling effort..... I don't know why they don't simply issue on a monthly basis the three items of interest so the market can make clear judgements on its progress viz:
Current gas flow figure
Current drilling depths of any new wells
Revenue received to date....
it's not hard but seems beyond HOG's capabilities.....
