The positives are:
1) that region is a known active petroleum system.
2) there are historical seismic surveys which provided the leads.
3) historical drilling detected oil shows.
4) With modern technology the sealed /trapped oil reservoirs should be easier to find.

Until oil is found, it is a speculation. Is this a lottery? No. Lottery is a win or a loss. With this stock, the SP is expected to hike before drilling and one can take profits without exposure to a duster.
