    the really sad and disgraceful thing about the orgy of credit/debt that we have either witnessed or been a part of, is that the next generations are going to be the ones to pick up the tab. When resources have run their course and the lucky country has maxed out its luck, then we will be in the same bucket as the PIIGs. When this comes around is anyone's guess it seems, but it's definitely gonna happen.
    The latest budget is extemely weak in terms of the future earnings of Australia beyond the Golden Goose. It addresses nothing substantial in this respect. ie: the nation is effectively leaderless in terms of the future. But if you still believe that non-productive housing as an investment will keep laying you golden eggs every morning, then you have nothing to worry about. Until it becomes a reality - which may or may not be in our lifetime.
