    hi MITM

not sure there will be a large sell off from the SPP

for holders like myself, long term holders happy with the progress RFE is making and excited about the future, if i get 50% of my allocation as a nice round figure, i will pump the remaining balance back into RFE.

this group of holders will possibly create more buyers

for short term holders, if you like the story and were willing to send in $15k, quite possible this group will sit and watch for the next couple of months, why not, probably will already in profit, could even create more buyers from left over cash.

for shareholders that sold a portion of there shares to pay for the SPP, would they sell say 23-24000 shares straight away to make a measely $2k??, reckon this group are sitters or potentially buyers with left over cash.

for shareholders who held 10 or less shares, and there were quite a few, would you sell the small parcel you get from the SPP for a 2-3k profit, or sit and watch for a month or 2, assuming a modicm of research was down, why sell straight away when you are already in profit and you potential could be on a winner, remembering Quantum Fund and Macquaries now basically own a quarter of the company.
this group SHOULD mostly consist of sitters with the inevitable few that will take a small profit and run.

we also have to consider the possibility that Quantum Fund will take their stake to 19.9%, along with possible interest from other institutions, if the majority of your stake is at 32c, buying on market wont hurt, will increase SP especially on the back of any good news.

then we have shorters to consider, i dont think the number of short sales is huge, but if funds decide to take out the SPP loose hands then it might be a mad scramble to cover shorts.

one last group only just thought about, the group that dont currently hold but are Baillieus clients that would have received both cover notes.

if this group saw the first note and decided to keep an eye on RFE, the second note surely must have aroused there interest because of the sharp rise in the Baillieus valuation. imho think that a few of the buyers today would have received the Baillieus coverage yesterday and realised not only has the RFE valuation increased but all but SPP shares are to hit the market, perhaps a great time to buy.

sorry for the ramble but this is just me theorising, but in my opinion, the number of loose shares after the SPP will be small, not enough to drag RFEs SP backwards too much, especially with big buyers on the sidelines.

of course, the kicker would be if DP had a gem of an announce or 2 up his sleeve.
