Debt is cheap at present and I would rather see a share buy-back or even a small dividend than money been thrown on long shot speculative holes. This seems the move of a conservative company not willing to throw away share holders money at a time when it appears there is little new ground worth the bother. They obviously feel that they have adequate resources on hand to see the China and Malaysian projects develop and that just investing the cash or paying down debt does little for the sp. A sign of confidence in their planning I feel and a nod to the long suffering shareholders. The market didn't appear appalled on what was a shocker of a day.
