I note that the drilling of the second well at Castello has already retreated from June to August or maybe September... As I've said before, I'll be happy if this is done before the end of the year.
This is the real problem with PVE - the Italian bureaucracy and the really long delays getting anything done. On past performance, they'll get a producing well up and running every four years or so. The upsides to this that I can see are that Bezzeca and Fantuzza can use existing plant, which should speed up the approval process. And the off-shore process may be faster (no need for approval from the local commune, though knowing our luck there'll be some Adriatic hydrocarbon qango involved...)
