Hi here's a map I put together over the last week or so with some information on the area around Glenburgh and Camel Hills.
    Area 1
as many of you would be aware this is the area where ARM are currently drilling some iron oxide+uranium+copper and gold targets and is the area where those photos of malachite and azurite rock samples were found.

    Area 2
Two companies soon to list in this area are Lithex(LTX) and Regalpoint Resources(RGU).Lithex is targeting lithium, tin and tantalum around the old Arthur River mine.Molybdenum, tungsten, uranium, monazite, tourmaline, gold as well as tin, tantalum and lithium are known to occur in the area and the area also has extensive belts of pegamites .There is a privately owned operational mica mine in the area to the northwest of DMA's leases.

    Area 3
Exploration results from a company who previously held the ground in 2007 (All Star Minerals)make interesting reading: "the December 2006 program of drainage samples returned grades of 3% and 2% monazite and economic grades of 1.4% zircon and 9.9% titanium.Grades of up to 48% monazite,47%zircon,29%ilmenite and 20%leuxocene have been recovered in stream samples"Other rock and stream samples revealed thorium(259ppm),cerium(928ppm), lanthanum(505ppm) and niobium(40ppm)."

    Area 4
Currently held by EXC these leases contain the Hibernian Shear Zone where intervals of [email protected]/t au,[email protected]/t au and 2m@147g/t au have been recorded.Another shear zone closer to ARM's Glenburgh ground yielded [email protected]/t and [email protected]/t.Most of the ground has never been drilled and what drilling that has been done was only to shallow depths (less than 60m)

    Area 5
This area is Abra Mining's (AII) extensive leases and hosts their polymetallic deposits of Pb,Ag,Zn and Cu.Recently subject to a freindly takeover bid by Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corporation Ltd at a 150% premium to its 1 year VWAP. Note that this is a Chinese state owned enterprise.

    Area 6
Gascoyne resources(GCY) have a JORC compliant inferred resource of 360,000 ounces on ground formerly held by Helix Resources.GCY's sub holders include AGO and Helix. Most of their resource is located on and around the Deadman Fault and some smaller splays off it.

    Area 7
These leases are GCY's Bustler Well and Mt James leases where they have recorded RC drill intercepts of [email protected]/t, [email protected]/t,[email protected]/t,[email protected]/t and [email protected]/t(Bustler Well shallow drilling)The system there was declared to be open to the southeast. At Mount James historical drilling identified a 2.5 km long mineralized system with grades of 4m@8g/t and [email protected]/t

    Area 8
This is a new leases that DSN have just picked up which borders GCY's ground to the north and more importantly straddles the Deadman Fault.

    Area 9
This is a collection of leases held by DMA for a number of years which they never got around to exploring.Yesterday they announced a farmout of all this ground to another Chinese state owned enterprise namely China Coal Geology Engineering Corporation(CCGEC)

    Areas X
You'll notice I've marked 3 rectangles as X....the two small areas to the northeast of GCY host a couple of splays off the Deadman Fault and I believe are likely to host some gold deposits. The larger rectangle at Glenburgh is host to a number on intersecting structures and shear zones which a few geologists I've spoken to suggest would be likely "traps" for mineralized fluids ...I hope that management after their current drilling program drill the hell out of this area.
In conclusion I believe all the information I've listed above suggests Glenburgh is very prospective ground and in a few weeks we may get a glimpse of just what it is host to.Whilst management already announced a fairly large drilling program I wish they would be more forthcoming on what information they have for the area.
The presence of 2 Chinese state owned enterprises and AGO and FMG in close proximity makes me wonder if at the current SP ARM is not a very cheap juicy takeover target.
