You know I was thinking about this today. I have about 30 ASX resource stocks on my watchlist, mostly the high quality ones, some of the HC usual susects, and quite a few of the mirco's that could produce some big news and just pop
As I said most of these are the top quality small cap resource plays.
And I would say on a risk reward basis SSN is my favourite stock.
Sure, half of the micro caps in there have the potential to make me much higher returns if they explode, but the risk is considerably higher. Some are years from production, IF they prove up what they've got.
I don't know where else on the ASX I can find a circa 300mill company that has around 60-70mill in the bank, current cash flow, with anticipated sharp increases, world class JV partners and a position in the sweet spot of one of the best oil plays in the world right now, in a country with very low sovereign risk, infrastructure, etc....
Oh, did I mention management?
I mean you can go on and on, but of all my stocks, this is the one that I lose by far the least sleep on.
Seriously, all they need to do is what they have been and this will be much higher than this price by the end of the year and probably higher quite soon.
