I would like to see the Federal government put it firmly out of reach through legislation. Make a strong statement stating it will never happen and make it final. Europe has an unmitigated disaster on its hands through weakness and tolerance of these people.

Note for the board - I have nothing against practising Islam. But I have a huge problem with it demanding the laws of the country be superceded by rules set down by mullahs in Central Asia and the Middle East, or through religious rules written hundreds of years ago. Religion has no place in lawmaking in a civilised society.

Or would you rather see an Australia where rape of women is tolerated or hidden, girls are killed if they refuse arranged marriages, or women are stoned to death for "adultery" when they have been raped. All documented cases under sharia law. And of course the current "eye-for-an-eye" acid blinding case where the man who committed the crime seems to have attracted the human rights advocates who were mysteriously silent when he threw acid in the face of that women and blinded her.

I know what I would choose. Tolerance of creeping sharia will doom the West.
