i was under the impression that lynas was building the plant in malaysia for cost reasons...
but now it actually sounds like its got more to do with lax regulations in malaysia...
question: can lynas get away with treating the waste material less in malaysia than they can in australia? is that what this is really all about?
if so, concerns of the locals are valid...
company cost cutting and using a poorer country as its dumping ground is not cool...
