I suspect the announcements made thus far are really only a formality. If strict guidelines were not adhered to, or need not be observed, very little in the way of a perceived lack of substance would ever make it to the market.

So yes, at least on face value anyway, the announcements are bland and somewhat vague.

But I would approach this as I would approach any of my investments:

Is the upside potential much greater than the downside potential? And does it send a shiver up and down my spine.
