"whats with the huge XT at 72c? "

    Super Tim,

Xtrades can be used for many purposes. One of which is to transfer shares from one entity to another owned by the same person, for tax purposes and advantages.

For instance, if you own shares in your own name whereby you would expect to make a big profit, and you also run a SMSF, it would be better for you to transfer those shares from you personal portfolio to your own SMSF, at the lowest possible prices. The result would be that while you tranfers the holding from your own portfolio to the SMSF at the lowest possible price, you could make/achieve a reduced Taxable Profit or even, depending on your entry price, making either a loss or no profits at all, if you did the transfer at your entry price.
I could go on and on about this issue, but I better keep it short before possibly confusing a few posters.

If you are invested in other companies as well, I am sure that you would have noticed some company announcements stating that a Director has sold some shares that were immediatley transferred to a SMSF or to a Family Superannuation fund. Think about it, and you will see your answer.

Finally, taking in consideration my points of views outliend above, I would treat the XT at 72 cents that you made a mention to, as a small grain of salt.

Please do not treat these comments as Tax advice, and please DYOR.

Cheers everyone, and good luck to all.
