I've also spoken to the MD a few weks ago and bought back in. Basically it's a slow process as lots of issues need to be addressed at each step so it all takes time. I'd guess the other companies he's in discussion with are to do with copper leaching and probably with operations in South America. The potential here is larger than with Nickel.
They are doing a heap of drilling to find more resources and firm up present resource estimates so there's a fair chance of success there.
Basically it seems that the present market sentiment is not ready to believe the company till they actually have a commercial operation going. Need plenty of patience but if things to pan out then obviously potential rewards are huge.
