I'd say Lend lease want the management fee value that CNP have had stolen from them, effectively, with the USA sale.
It's worth a great deal.
And paying a little bit more now, than they were prepared to pay before, is peanuts compared to the value of being manager. This is why they are being agresive now as their time to make a move is fast running out.
