As someone that has been experiencing depression over the last four months I can tell you that it can get the best of us.
I turned to alcohol abuse which culminated in suicide attempts.
Recently I stared new medication for depression; attacked my alcohol abuse with weekly meetings; and had good cognitive behavioural therapy with a psychologist.
I have also read numerous books on depression in the last four weeks which have been extremely useful.
I consider myself in a V - shaped recovery and am now getting stronger by the day
